Alexandra “Alex” Holder
Alex provides supportive, nonjudgmental therapy while remaining focused on meaningful change. Her work
is especially informed by experience with trauma, substance use, grief, anger, military life,
reintegration, and relationship stress. She draws on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Humanistic,
Interpersonal, and Motivational Interviewing approaches, and holds an MS in Addiction Counseling from
Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center.

Alex currently works with selected plans through Headway, including:

Insurance participation and client responsibility depend on the specific plan. Coverage should be
verified before treatment. Uninsured or self-pay clients may request a Good Faith Estimate of expected
charges.

Where are sessions available?
Sessions are provided through secure telehealth to clients physically located in Texas at the time of service.
Who does Alex work with?
Alex works with teens, adults, seniors, individuals, and couples, with particular experience supporting veterans, active-duty service members, military families, and people in recovery.
What concerns can we address?
Primary areas include trauma and PTSD, grief and loss, addiction and dual diagnosis, anger management, emotional regulation, relationship concerns, and major life transitions, alongside a broader range of concerns discussed during your consultation.
Is this the same as Sage and Saddle’s holistic services?
No. Clinical Therapy is licensed psychotherapy provided through Sage and Saddle Counseling, PLLC and can be billed to insurance. Acudetox, life coaching, sound baths, and animal-assisted activities are separate, non-clinical services offered through Sage and Saddle, LLC. See our Services page for details.
